I know- if you are taking a vacation break right now, you are dosappointed! But for those who garden, this is manna from Heaven! I, personally, am grateful for a break from watering potted plants every day (sometimes twice daily, if the wind is blowing)- and everything looks so much greener and happier. I am a bit behind in getting the planting done, but this excuse I am glad to accept! PS- my ducks are pretty happy about it, too.....
Speaking of the Ducks...I am sorry to report that they have once again ditched the nest (and eggs) they were "brooding" . This is the 2nd time this season they have done this, so I am not very hopeful for any ducklings this year. Very disappointing. |
